Tell New Jersey Sens. Frank Lautenberg and Bob Menendez: Slow Down Massive Immigration to Save Jobs for Unemployed New Jersey Residents
 
 

Even as hundreds of thousands of New Jersey workers are struggling to find a job, Congress has continued to issue 125,000 new work visas a month to immigrants and other foreign workers. This equals 1.5 million new foreign workers each year, who compete directly with New Jersey residents for a very limited number of New Jersey's jobs.

Who benefits from allowing 1.5 million new foreign workers into the U.S. each year? Certainly not the 411,000 residents of New Jersey who are currently unemployed. Unfortunately, Sens. Lautenberg and Menendez have done nothing to reduce the number of foreign workers to the U.S. And as a result, unemployed New Jersey workers continue to suffer.

This continued failure to stand up for jobless New Jersey residents by Sens. Lautenberg and Menendez is inexcusable. Your fellow unemployed New Jersey workers need more opportunities. Please don't delay. Send the critical message below to New Jersey Sens. Lautenberg and Menendez today, urging them to reduce immigration to a more sensible level. This is a completely free service. Dear Senators Lautenberg and Menendez,

Our nation has a proud and rich immigration tradition. However, we need to move our immigration policies into the 21st century.

With unemployment numbers still high and our nation struggling to control its national debt, it is time for Congress to consider reducing overall immigration numbers.

The United States gives new work permits to 1.5 million immigrants and other foreign workers each year--not including the illegal aliens who arrive. When our nation is trillions in debt and has a shortage of millions of jobs, there is simply no way to justify these numbers. Taxpayers end up subsidizing the Americans who lose their jobs because of immigration.

Please support measures that would end illegal immigration and reduce legal immigration to sensible numbers. The American people are counting on you to do the right thing. Please don't let us down.

For those not in the know both New Jersey Senators Frank Lautenberg and Bob Menendez have let New Jersey residents down numerous times. Both continually are pressing for a Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants and both voted down "English" in the Senate to being our National Language. One has to stop and wonder who these Senators really represent. They don't represent the legal American Citizen thats for sure.  Both need to be voted out of office if you were to ask me. One can only try to get through to these 2 Idiots sending a free fax through numbers USA.
