This forum is for all alumni, friends, former and current residents of Bound Brook who attended St. Mary's Parish School. Memories, photos, anecdotes are all welcome.
I graduated from St. Mary's School in 1956. My teachers werea all Bernardine / Franciscan nuns. I'll try to name all of them from that time, and I hope I get them all correct. Because of a change in the laws of the age when a youngster could begin school, I spent two years in Kindergarten!
K-1:Sr. M. Bogumilla
K-2: Sr. M. Faustine
1st grade: Sr. M. Floria
2nd: Sr. M. Paschaline
3rd & 4th grade: Sr. M. Olivia
5th & 6th Grade Sr. Mary (Zdzislaus)
7th: Sr. M. Bogumilla (again)
8th: Sr. M. Dymphna
Sr. Mary dropped the Polish name.
At this writing, Sr. Olivia is alive and residing in Holy Family Parish, Carteret.
The Pastor of the parish at that time was Rev. C. Jasionowski. School Principal was Sr. M. Lourdes.

You should include a BB Grammer School section to this forum including forum member Paddlers Thread there for St Mary's School. A thread should be started for each school just in that section of the forum.
