Okay, this would only be known to those who went to St. Joes school where we held the annual Fiesta in June. In May every year, they had this jamboree with three rides (all on trucks...pre-assembled). There was a four car ferris wheel, a whip and damn if I can remember the third. There were horses at the end where we would ride and there were games (free of charge) with cheap toy prizes like water pistols (not the super shooters you see today) and bubble kits where you would pour the loop in a bottle and blow bubbles. Who even thought about pistols in school at that time!!!

I remember the St.Joesph Jamboree's. It was only for the kids that attended St.Joesph School. It actually took place on a school day in the school yard. I remember the pony rides and the rides set up on the back of the trucks that brought them in. I remember it always took place in the month of May early in the month. It was a day I looked forward to attending St. Joes.

Wow I went to St. Joes and don't remember this at all..guess I went from about 59 to 67 or so..maybe my mind is gone..
Som44 you were there when they had the Jamboree. I know that for a fact. I bet your sisters will remember. You were 2 years behind me. One of your sisters was a year ahead of me. Think back as they did this during a school day out in the schoolyard in the month of May. Ask someone else that was in your class that you still keep in touch with. I was in the class of '65.
