Mike (Chuck) Barber

Cousin Mike passed away July 7th at his home in Southern California.  He was a great guy to know, who loved America and served in two wars for the USA Marines.  After retiring, he started traveling across the country with cars and used car parts to every state in the union, always bringing with him his pet dog.  He owned and operated cmbtow where some would hire him to deliver a certain car from one state to another.  If you knew him, he had some good stories tell.  He was the son of Charles and Mary Barber from Middlesex, NJ, where his dad owned and operated Charles Barber Shop, from South Bound Brook, then moving to Finderne, NJ.  I will miss all his informative and funny emails...RIP my dear cousin!

I remember the user name (cmbtow) as he belonged to one of the Bound Brook forums a couple of years ago. I spoke with him by PM on occasion as I mentioned about having known Johnny Barber and his son Mark years ago before both passed away. Johnny use to work at Research Cottrell in Finderne where my father also worked. I worked there after graduating BBHS also back in the late 60's. Mike (cmbtow) mentioned being related to John. I am very sorry for your lost. Mike seemed like a great guy to know. Thanks for listing his Obit on the STSBBNJ Forum.
