Richard Codey today waded into the national furor over the attempted airline bombing on Christmas Day, firing off a letter calling for the resignation of U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
"Based on the handling of this entire affair, I think it’s time for you to consider stepping down and making room for an individual with more law enforcement and counterterrorism experience to take the reins at the Office of Homeland Security," Codey (D-Essex) wrote. "The entire episode was handled poorly, from start to finish."
