Another find out of the past...

This was on the back window of my 68 Firebird when I used to tow it behind what ever I was using as a tow car.. We called it "flat towing" ,  in the days before I had trailers.. This sticker dates back to about 1974 ish.. I must have peeled it off some where in the 80's and somehow kept it all these years in a box in the garage...

Here is some more from the archives.. A time slip from ATCO RACEWAY (about1988), time slip from Island Dragway ( marked 1988), A YORK US 30 timeslip (from 1977) , a time slip from RACEWAY PARK from 1973 this one is a win slip in a class called B/XS ( B-EXPERIMENTAL STOCK) I won this with my 68 LeMans the high school car..  signed by Richard Napp,(Vinnie Napp's younger brother), A Class Winner sticker from RACEWAY PARK ( I still have a stack of these.. I just put one on my GTO...lol), A class winner sticker from ISLAND DRAGWAY , and a Gold Eliminator sticker from RACEWAY PARK ( This was given after you won your class then all the class winners would race and the winner was the top spot of the event.. I still have 5 of these...)
A rough guess is that I must have about 300 time slips here. And thats just the ones I've saved...lol

Hey I remember seeing one of those English Town Class Winner stickers floating around here somewhere. I wonder if Dobb's brother is still working there in Englishtown at Raceway Park?biggrin

Remember Dobb's himself with the '68 or '69 Nova. I remember people busting his chops about going down the quarter mile at Englishtown with his helmet on backwards in that car. He was good for also filling his dash up with Mc Donalds French Fries. They say there were still old fries stuck in the dash when he sold that car.  nod.gifrofl.gif
