Eco-Cruise

Forgot to mention that a few weeks ago we took an Eco-Cruise on the Hackensack River. To copy their booklet:

These cruises take people on an excursion through the tidal reaches of the Hackensack River and its wildlife-rich estuary, the Meadowlands. The shallow draft of our boats enables us to visit numerous wetlands including Bellman's Creek, the Mill Creek Marsh, Kingsland Creek and the Berry's Creek Canal; but the highlight of every Meadowlands Eco-Cruise is a trip through the Sawmill Creek Wildlife Management Area – the “The Jewel of the Meadowlands”. The Sawmill WMA is home to a staggering amount of wildlife including shorebirds, waterfowl, herons, raptors, muskrats and more.

It's a really interesting and educational cruise which lasts about two hours.
If any of you get a chance, try to catch a cruise in the next couple of months while the weather is warm. We happened to catch a day that was cold and windy and nearly froze our butts off

Sounds really neat.. They have air boat tours around here and down in the Everglades that sound about the same.. But I forget.... What is this word "froze"????

It must be nice not to remember what it feels like to be really cold.
Froze, to be unhot. How's that?
