My wife and I were at MSG this past Sunday to attend Pete Seeger's 90th birthday concert. What a great night! Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Mellencamp, Richie Havens, Joan Baez just to name a few of the more than 20-25 performers. And Pete looks more like 70 than his 90 years, still singing and carrying on. And all for a great cause; the proceeds went to the Clearwater Foundation.
Sounds like you had a great time there Zach. From what I understand my daughter has me and my wife accompanying her to see "Elvis" next month. That's Elvis Costello a genius musician himself I have to say.

Stone, enjoy! There is nothing like a good live show from a good performer
I know what you are saying Zach although I don't go to many concerts but the one's that I have gone to still stick in my mind like when I first saw The Rolling Stones live during their Bridges To Babylon tour about 10 or so years ago. Will never forget it as we had tickets only a few rows from the stage. Someone my wife worked with at one time who went to work for a record producer gave them to us and the whole family really got to see a great concert up front. Back then those tickets went for over $300 a ticket from what I understood. Have to tell you I enjoyed a concert right in the town of Bound Brook back during the late 80's to early 90's I can't remember the year for sure at the moment. Saw South Side Johnny at the Brook theatre. Man did he rock the house. Went back to see him at the Somerset Patriots baseball stadium during the late 90's along with Blood Sweat and Tears and The Rascals. Southside rocked the house once more there. The fake Rascals didn't come close to the original band and Blood Sweat and Tears were good if you were ever into them. I never was. If you ever get the chance to check Southside Johnny out please do so. Both Southside Johnny and Bruce Springsteen are buddies for those not in the know. Bruce went on and really made it big but Southside who is just as good if not better then Bruce didn't get the good breaks some musicians get.

Stone, I never got a chance to see Southside Johnny live but have heard him on the radio and you're right, he's great. Sometime all a person needs is a break to make it big. You wonder how many others are out there just as good or better than some "stars" who never got the breaks to make it big
Wasn't it Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes at one time?
