How many of you remember The Homestead Bar owned by Frank Kobeck back in the day on Talmadge Ave? Some of you should remember the Clam Bar right outside of the place during the Summer. Country Western bands and dancing inside on the weekends.

Of course remember Kolbecks Homestead. My folks used to go there a lot as they like C&W music. I remember one time it was a big deal because Kitty Wells was appearing there.
Those were the days in the "west end" of town. I remember sitting out there like it was yesterday. They had great clams and cold beer you couldnt ask for anything more on a hot summer night.

Brooker, Do you know if Frank Kobeck is still living? I ran into someone the other day that belonged to a Car Club that I also belonged to back in and around 1975. Frank Kobeck was also a member. Our meetings took place at the Homestead also. I haven't run into him and if still living he's got to be well up there in age.
