How many of you remember the old Dean Gas Station on Main Street that stood right next door to Chitch's Pizzeria to the left of it? I remember buying gas in that place to power my first vehicle a Honda 90 Motorcycle for 25 cents a gallon.  biggrin

Hey Stone,

       I actually worked there briefly.  Kenny and Bill who owned Auto World across the street took it over for a short time.  I was already working for them and I took a few shifts at the gas station here and there.

Yeah, I remember it. I delivered the Star Ledger to him when I worked a paper route.
Also, we would park our cars there on weekend nights when Chitch's was packed and street parking was unavailable

 I remember parking in that gas station also while dining at Chitchs. Sometimes people would block you in though !!

Yep 25 cents a gallon when I first stated driving.I rember Sonny Casumbaum working there

I hate to admit it BUT I remember gas @ 16 cents per gallon ! Where did all that time go ???? biggrin

Dam I can't remember that far back. 16 Cents?  Heck must of been when Moses was around. biggrin jawdrop.gif

Definely remember Dean Gas Stattion. I cant remember what the price of gas was but I know it wasnt more then 25 cents.
I remember when Sonny worked there.I borrowed his GTO Conv. and got one of my many tickets I got in NJ back in the day.

Anybody know where Sonny is now?.
