Bound Brook Auto Supply was around for a long time although going out of business some years back. I would say roughly 7 years ago but not completely sure. Don't know how many on the forum ever delt with them but I got to know the owner Sam who passed away in the late 80's to early 90's pretty well over the years. He was the glue that kept the business together I have to say. He was a hustler going out on the road to repair shops to sell his goods everyday of the week. He was happy to sell you anything even if it was only a $2.00 box of bolts just to make his trip worthwhile back in the day. His son inlaw Joe runs a tool business housed at the same location on Main Street today. He kept the auto parts business going after Sammy passed for a number of years until converting it over to the present tool supply business.

I remember Sam very well. As Stone stated he would come by my Dads place weekly and check the inventory and keep it up to snuff. Danny Menti worked there for years also.
i use to get me points and plugs from them and even a few starters for my chevelles ...
Thuls (Fools) as we called them never gave us the real good help like BB Auto Supply did....Suprising Thuls is still hanging in there with places like Auto Zones popping up around and giviing them stiff competion
