I think it was called the Town Tavern. It was or still is (?) located across the street from the Brook Theater. Anyone have any memories? I went there one night with a couple of guys when we all worked at Bound Brook Oiless Bearing Co. We went because we found out that the mail-girl from work danced there at night. We stayed until closing. While I was there I was amazed at how many Bound Brookites stopped in for drinks throughout the night, morning

Oh Yea !! Lot's of memories about Town Tavern back in the 60's. George Ziegler was the owner (Ziggy) There was a group of us who hung out there. I could taste a nice Cold Rolling Rock Nip right now !! Dixie
