Now I'm going back a bit but does anyone out there remember DeCastro's Bar? Wasn't it located on Talmadge Ave diagonally across the street from Chitch's?
Of course, was called Gigi's Tavern. The DeCastros lived kitty corner to the bar on Talmage. My Aunt was friends with one of the children and I remember going there when I was just a kid on a Saturday day just to visit while Jimmy cleaned up. They would sit me on the pool table! Mrs. D. is still living on Chestnut St. She has to be way up in years by now.
Years later of course it was the Corner Pub. Pete Capolupo owned it for several years.
