How about the Burger Chef on Union Ave. Remember all of the car races that started out of the parking lot of the Burger Chef up onto Rt.287 and Rt.78 or (The Come Back). I remember Hot Cars that packed the Burger Chefs parking lot that extended over to the Food Fair across the street and into the Krauzers type of store behind the Burger Chef.
For those of the younger crowd coming to this forum (The Come Back) was the area of Rt.28 (Union Ave) where you drove West out of BB towards Somerville on Union Ave up by the Yellow buildings took the jughandle at the light at Chimney Rock Road to come back to Bound Brook. Plenty of Car Races took place at that light on Rt.28 headed back to Bound Brook. Thus it was named (The Come Back).

I used to take my Mom to Arthur Treachers. She loved it and so did I. Later it changed hands to an Italian Place and they still served the fish & Chips.
Billy, good to see you on the board.. I remember your Camaro, I remember one Sunday you came back from Raceway Park and you had a Class Winner decal.. A Class Winner decal made anyone that won one royality in the Burger Chef world ..LOL.. I also remember when you wrote on the front fender of your Camaro with magic marker "YELLOW ROSE" .. Going back a little further... How about you and I having wheelie contests on Thomas Place.. You on your little Honda and me on my Schwinn Stingray...LOL
