AGE: 85 • Middlesex

Mrs. Antonette (Ann) I. Bodor, 85, went to the Lord on Friday, February, 22, 2013, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. Born and raised in Bound Brook, she moved to Middlesex in 1956. Mrs. Bodor graduated from St. Joseph Parochial School, Bound Brook, and from Bound Brook High School, Class of '44. She held an Associate Degree in Banking from the American Institute of Banking. Her career extended for 47 years throughout eight mergers and many acquisitions. She began her banking career in 1944, with the then, Bound Brook Trust Co. She held various positions over the years, retiring in 1991 as branch manager and Vice President of the First Fidelity Bank, Union Avenue Office, Bound Brook. She was very active in all county and local organizations, as President of the Bound Brook Area Chamber of Commerce, and was the first woman inducted into the Bound Brook-Middlesex Rotary Club. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook, a member of the Finance Committee of St. Joseph Church and a former Trustee. She was a past president of St. Joseph Rosary Society, Vice Regent of Court Gloria #462, Catholic Daughters of America, as a member for over 60 years. Past President of the Bound Brook Elks, Lodge #1388, Ladies Organization, and a member of Bound Brook Seniors. She attended Mass everyday since her retirement in 1991. She was a daily communicant.

Mrs. Bodor was predeceased by her husband of 48½ years, Louis Z. Bodor, Jr., and a brother, Anthony D. Romano. She is survived by her beloved son, Robert L. Bodor, her two granddaughters, Lauren (Chris) Schrenk, Lindsey (Tony) Petrone and two devoted great grandchildren, Brian and Samantha Schrenk. Also a beloved sister-in-law Lorraine Romano, a brother-in-law Ernest Bodor, three nieces and three nephews.

Funeral Services are 8:45 AM, Wednesday, February 27, at Hagan- Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church. Visitation will be 4 - 8 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church.
