All those places went under; the Straw Hat, The Goose and Gander, Rusty Nail. Our band played them all. There was Squires, Poor Richard's Pub and Julio's but the only ones still around are Poor Richard's (now the Green Knoll Grille) and the Top Of The Hill. There was a great bar scene in the 70's but the drunk driving laws kicked in and they changed the drinking age from 18 back to 21. After that, there was a slow decline in nightclubs so they just all folded up.
