Does anyone remember the two movie houses that were in Plainfield, The Liberty and The Strand. I remember that after I got my drivers license, the first date that I had outside of BB was to drive to Plainfield to catch a movie at The Strand and then over to Johnny's Diner on Route 22 for a burger, WOW, those were the days!

For extra credit, Zach: What was the movie you saw on that date?

The last movie I saw at the Strand was 'The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming".

Geez, that was a long time ago.

I'm pretty sure it was Alfie with Michael Caine. Please remember however, I wasn't really paying attention to the movie

AROUND IN THE EARLY 70'S TIL THEY CLOSED DOWN  THOSE 2 THEATERS WERE SHOWING XXX MOVIES AT THEM hmm
