Mr.Barile had to be the best Gym teacher BBHS ever hand as far as I am concerned. He was the kind of teacher you wish you had in all of your classes. Mr. Barile passed away some years back but even today he is missed by many who knew him.

I agree he was a good man. Spent much time with him as I was a BB player and a friend of his son's. In the summer he was a swim coach/recreation director down the shore. Cant' really remember where but it had a large pool right off the Ocean. Spent some enjoyable times there.
Remember the co-ed dancing classes in the late 60's. Boys on one side of the divider, girls on the other. Open the divider and there was your partner for the class!
Remember the dances well. Usually it was square dancing and it was done either right before or right after Christmas break when the weather was too cold to go outdoors for gym. Sqaure dancing was fun if you got the right partner and not someone considered a "dog" as junior high students could be a little cruel! It was tough if you had a girlfriend, as they would rotate partners and you weren't allowed just one exclusive one.
oh square dancing in junior high was fun...as we didn't have to change into our gym clothes..and either my best friends boyfriend would dance with me...or her cute cousin...~so life was good~
