A little history here. Don't know how many of you will remember the Risveglio Italian American Club? As a kid I remember my Grandfather taking me for a walk down to the Risveglio, sat me up on a stool in the bar and bought me one of my first ice cold Coca-Cola's in the 6 oz bottle. Thought I was pretty cool back then sitting there.
Didn't know it until recently but Italian members that once belonged to the Sons Of Italy left it and form there own club called the Risveglio meaning (Wake UP) in the West End of town on Talmadge Ave.

I don't remember the club but heard family stories of it. From what I understand, my grandfather used to bartend there.
Joesdad, the Risveglio was located on Talmadge Ave. right down the street from the intersection of Drake St a little past Ambrose Cleaners on the other side of the street.
