Mazurs Shell Station - - - Corner of Thompson Ave and Union Ave

How many of you remember Mazurs Shell Station in town right on the Corner of Thompson Ave and Union Ave ? Johnny Mazur had a beautiful Black 58 Corvette that I remember well being into cars. Steve Mazur ran the Gas Station on his own for a number of years and then turned it into a Deli back in the late 80's early 90's if I remember correctly until he sold it and it became a Restaurant. I am pretty sure it is a Cell Phone operation now to this day.

Didn't Mike Martin work there at one time? I remember a green Firebird in the cobwebs of my mind!!! I remember the Vette also.  Does anyone remember the beautiful  Turquoise 67 Lincoln Continental that was owned by the proprieter of the ESSO station at Vosseller and Union?  I loved that car from the time I was a 9 year old and it was new.  I eventually got to own it when I was 19!!!

Mike Martin worked at the Exxon station on the corner of Vossler and Union ave. The Firebird your thinking of was Freddy Yanetta's. Mike bought it from him..It started out as a 326 automatic and Feddy had it switched to a 4 speed and then put a Ram Air IV in it. Remember riding in it had to be a high 12 second car..Super nice car When Freddy had it.
