Speaking of weiners, is Texas Weiners on Rt 22W in Green Brook still open? I think the owners name was George and Gus was one of the cooks. I had a part-time job there many years ago; worked until the 2am closing on the weekend. Some real late night characters would come in for something to eat after partying all night. It was fun!
Yep the place is still there but I heard different owners now. If I remember correctly it changed hands sometime in the last 10 years or so. They had pretty good food there I remember. Years ago I use to go there but haven't in a long time. I usually go over to the Middlesex Texas Weiner when I feel like having that type of fast food.
