Dom was a old neighbor of mine during my growing up in Bound Brook. You couldn't find a nicer person. He was well known in Bound Brook living in town for many years. Dom passed away at 97 and was still seen driving around in his early 90's while living in BB. Dom for his age never looked his age. He always appeared to look at least 20 years younger then he was. I remember Dom taking me as a kid to see the New York Yankee's. Had to be the late 50's or very early 60's. Being that Dom was born in New York in Brooklyn he knew New York very well. I remember as a kid just before walking into Yankee Stadium with Dom one day and Dom stopping to say hello to someone right outside of the park. He walked up to this older lady and said Hello Mrs. Ruth. Yea you guessed it. He had said Hello to the Late Babe Ruths wife back then as I guess she would still attend some Yankee games. As a kid back then I didn't know much but remember it like it was yesterday. I will never forget Dom and his wife Dora and their kids growing up in Bound Brook. Dom's family was like my extended family back then. Actually other families around us were pretty much the same. You really don't see and feel that anymore in the year 2008. Those days are gone forever in Bound Brook and elsewhere.  Rest in peace Dominick. You were a good person. All that knew you well can vouch for that for sure.

i grew up on Linden Ave. and Drake St. Lived there before Dominick, as a matter of fact he lived across the street from me. When my brother Alex and Anthony were growing up he always took them to Yankee Stadium.

I don't recall who you are and where you grew up in our neighbor hood.

CMollster37,
Of course you would not recall who I am under my user name of RollingStone on this forum but members here don't usually state their real names on this forum although some of us know who the others are. I sent you a PM to clear things up though. smile
